              Alocasia baginda 'Dragon Scale'
Alocasia baginda 'Dragon Scale' is a rare tropical perennial prized for its textured, emerald-green foliage that resembles mythical dragon scales. Native to the rainforests of Borneo, it thrives in bright, indirect light and a chunky, well-draining mix of orchid bark, coco coir, and perlite. Leaves are thick, leathery, and deeply veined, with pale undersides and maroon veins. Foliage typically reaches 2 to 3 feet tall indoors, forming a compact clumping habit. Keep humidity high (60–80%) and allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. Contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals which is toxic if ingested, so keep out of reach of children and pets.
